In the summer of 2022, under the mentorship of photographer and professor, paul turounet, I constructed my first book. what it looked like when i was there consists of Polaroids and poetry. the style of the book requires a slower, more intimate mode of viewing. instead of flipping through the pages, you pick them up and hold each print in your hands. I was thinking about the relationships we make with scenes of our daily lives and what they mean to us.
